TOWERS Ernest After a lengthy illness, Ernest aged 94, died peacefully on August 15 at Sutton Hall Nursing Home. Beloved husband of the late Gwen, father of Michael and Shirley, father-in-law of Jennifer and Arty, grandfather of Joanne, Christopher, Omar, Juita, Jasmin and Azlan, great-grandfather of Rachael, Nathan, William, Oliver, Evie, Isla Aeris, Tai, Delilah and Cora and sister of Vera and Jean. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, September 1 at St Thomas Church, Sutton-in-Craven at 1.30p.m., followed by cremation at Skipton Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund.
