BENNETT Wendy Karen Passed away peacefully on Friday, May 12, 2017, at Airedale Hospital. Wendy will be remembered as a devoted wife of Graham Bennett, adoring mother of James Layton-Bennett, dear mother-in-law of Ally Layton-Bennett, fond sister of Sandra Sullivan and a fierce friend. She loved poetry and short stories, woolly sheep, a proper cup of tea and a good laugh. Wendy knew her own mind, showed resilience and strength through life's adversities, was welcoming to anyone who came through her door and she was kind-hearted until the end. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 31 at 10:45am at Oakworth Crematorium, Keighley, BD22 0RJ. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for Friends of Airedale Hospital.
