EMMOTT Basil In his 89th year, died peacefully at home in Silsden, with his nephew and trusted friend Tony at his side, after a valliant battle against cancer, stoically borne. Brother of the late James and Gordon, stepbrother to Mawson and Henry, dearly loved uncle to Kathleen, Jack, Jean, Christine, Fred, Tony and the late Ann, great uncle to many, a true and loyal friend to the few who knew him. An honest heart has been stilled, free to fly home now to his beloved mother. The funeral service will take place on Friday, June 30, 2017 at Thomas Clarkson Chapel of Rest, Green Avenue, Silsden, at 11.30am followed by cremation at Skipton Crematorium.
