BATEMAN Charles (Matthew) Bairstow Aged 76 years, died peacefully on November 12, 2017 in Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary. Dear father of Ann, John and Claire and grandfather. Former Major of the Duke of Wellington Regiment territorial army. Latterly of Wanlockhead, Haworth and Sutton In Craven. The funeral service and cremation will take place at Skipton Crematorium on Monday, November 27, at 11:40am. No flowers by request, donations in lieu to Yorkshire Air Ambulance Service.
