A 20-year-old who plunged to his death from the sixth floor of a Bingley tower block has been named as former Keighley man Maurice Raymond Tretton.
Police were called to Adelaide House soon after 4am on Saturday where resident Mr Tretton, known as “Moz”, was found lying on the ground outside the flats.
Det Insp Ryan Bragg, of Bradford CID, said: “We were called to a report that a man had fallen from the sixth floor of a property at Crossley Wood Road, Bingley.
“He was treated by paramedics, but died at the scene.
“At this stage there is nothing to suggest any third party involvement in the death.”
Floral tributes were left at the scene over the weekend, one of which bore the message: “RIP Moz. you will be missed.”
Until recently Mr Tretton lived in North Dean Road, Braithwaite.
His identity was released by police this afternoon and a date for opening an inquest has yet to be set.
