A FORMER pub in Keighley is to be sold at auction.

The Bracken Arms will go under the gavel later this month, with a guide price of £40,000-plus.

The disused Bracken Bank Grove hostelry will be among the lots at an Eddisons sale being staged at Leeds United’s Elland Road stadium on Thursday, October 23.

Other Keighley-district properties on offer will include a three-bedroom semi-detached house in Long Lee Lane, with a guide price of £50,000 to £60,000, and a detached two-bedroom bungalow in Riddlesden which is estimated at £100,000-plus.

Tony Webber, for Eddisons, said: "This is an excellent catalogue offering investors a wide variety of stock at a range of guide prices.

"Our last auction generated proceeds of over £6 million and we have every reason to be optimistic about our forthcoming sale."
