KEIGHLEY’s NRGym has gained a prestigious accolade from a market leading fitness company.
The gym in Worth Way has become a recognized Hammer Strength Centre of Excellence.
NRGym is one of only 17 clubs in the UK, and the only one in West Yorkshire, to win the branding.
NRGym co-owner Rousel Chowdhury said, Hammer Strength was the world’s leading weightlifting equipment.
He said: “All major English football clubs, US major league baseball, football and NBA teams use them as they produce the best equipment for elite athletes.”
Mr Chowdhury said in NRGym met Hammer’s criteria due to having the right selection of the company’s equipment.
He added: “Our ethos and approach to training our members with a more hands-on approach in the education field makes us a very different gym.”
Mr Chowdhury said Hammer Strength also liked the ‘continual growth’ the club offered its members, and the fact it won the Best Newcomer category in this year’s National Fitness Awards.
