£500 for Denholme Cricket Club thanks to Skipton Building Society
DENHOLME Cricket Club has received a £500 grant courtesy of a company's community support initiative.
The club is one of nine Bradford district-based organisations to receive a share of Skipton Building Society's Grassroots Giving Scheme funding.
The beneficiaries were chosen by the public from among hundreds of applicants.
Aidan Walker, the building society's Bradford branch manager, said: "The Grassroots Giving programme is a fantastic scheme, allowing us to really delve into the heart of our local community.
"We love being able to help small, self-funded groups and give them the boost they both need and deserve."
