SMALL change has made a big difference to Keighley charities.
Three causes – Keighley Furniture Project, youth theatre KYDZ and the Friends of Airedale Hospital – have shared a £1,000 payout from the Yorkshire Building Society.
A vote over a two-week period at the society's Low Street branch decided how the money should be distributed.
The campaign was supported by the Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation, with members donating pennies from interest they receive on their accounts.
Keighley branch manager, Jonathan Thewlis, said: "We had a brilliant response to the campaign from our members, shoppers and residents, but the real winners are the charities, all of which do a fantastic job providing invaluable support in our local community.
"It felt right that the decision of splitting the money was put in the hands of our members and local people."
The hospital Friends received £500, KYDZ £300 and the furniture project £200.
