A KEIGHLEY company has won recognition for the second year running in a top awards scheme.

The Green Deal Factory took a highly-commended accolade as regional boiler installation company of the year.

The honour was in the Yorkshire and Humberside Green Deal and ECO awards.

Paul Calvert, for the company, said: "This award is testament to the hard work of all the staff at our Keighley office and external installation team.

"Our business is at the heart of the local community, helping those on low incomes benefit from Government-backed grants to install brand new energy-efficient domestic boilers.

"As a registered Green Deal advisory organisation and installer, our company has been recognised as having a significant impact on carbon emission reduction.

"The judging panel commended us on achieving a high standard of customer satisfaction."

The Green Deal Factory recently stepped-in to provide much-needed funding for the hugely popular Haworth 1940s Weekend, taking place from May 15 to 17.

Nikki Carroll, for the event organising team, said: "It was due to be cancelled, which would have been a great shame.

"We're absolutely delighted that this year's event has been saved and it's brilliant that Paul Calvert and Green Deal Factory agreed to step in."
