KEIGHLEY builder RN Wooler has completed a £600,000 pub revamp.

The Lawkholme Lane family firm carried out the refurbishment of The Woolly Sheep, in Skipton, for Keighley brewery Timothy Taylor.

The project included the creation of three new bedrooms and an additional dining area, plus a kitchen extension.

Five new jobs have been created at the award-winning pub.

Heike Funke, operations manager at Taylor's, said: "The work was carried out by Wooler in line with our policy of using local suppliers and contractors wherever possible."

Several events are planned at the new-look pub, beginning with a beer and food matching evening on June 16.

All five Timothy Taylor championship beers will be on the menu.

Proceeds from the event will go to Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice Manorlands.
