A KEIGHLEY firm has given a lift to a wheelchair-bound ex-dancer.
A1 Stairlift Services has installed a free stairlift in the home of Dawn Chappell, as part of its Give Something Back to the Community campaign.
The company is providing a fully-installed stairlift every month for a year to a deserving recipient.
"Dawn was definitively a deserving case," said director Bob Dunne, who fitted the stairlift.
"At the young age of 37, her independence has been taken away from her.
"We're pleased we could do something to help and make it easier for her to fully use her home."
Dawn, who was nominated for the stairlift by a friend, has the debilitating disease Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and after a recent fall was diagnosed with MS.
"I'm so grateful to A1 for fitting a free stairlift for me," she said.
"It's been a difficult time and knowing I can now easily get up and down stairs in my own home has made things that bit easier for me."
