A CROSS Hills motor dealership has a new person in the driving seat – and plans to create jobs.
Former banker Emma Spedding has been appointed dealer principal at Sytner Volkswagen Skipton.
She started with the company in 2010 as a sales executive at the company's Leeds dealership and has worked her way up through the ranks.
"I have a real affinity for the Volkswagen brand," said the 28-year-old.
"My main focus is on maintaining Skipton's very high customer satisfaction survey rankings, which enable the company to benefit from repeat business from loyal clients.
"There are also opportunities to increase sales and to create more jobs for local people.
"We have been fortunate to attract very good people and have low staff turnover, giving us a solid base on which to build a bigger team.
"Right now I'm looking for a new service advisor to join the experts in our workshop and we have ambitions for further recruitment in coming months."
