STAFF at a Keighley building society staged an afternoon tea to celebrate a successful year of charity fundraising.
An Hour of Need campaign launched by the Yorkshire Building Society has raised £300,000 for Marie Curie in its first 12 months.
And colleagues at the Low Street branch served up cream teas to customers to mark the milestone, raising £42.
Jonathan Thewlis, the Keighley branch manager, said: "We had a lovely day with our customers, enjoying cream teas and raising money for the Hour of Need campaign.
"This is the society's most successful ever fundraising initiative and I just want to say a massive thanks to everybody who has donated and helped us raise the £300,000."
