A KEIGHLEY man has been appointed associate director with a geotechnical and geoenvironmental consultancy.

Bryn Jones – who has joined the Harrogate office of CGL – has 12 years' experience in the geotechnical industry and has worked on major civil engineering projects for the rail, highways and private sectors and local authorities.

Richard Pennock, CGL regional director, said: "Bryn's expertise on geotechnical design, his knowledge and commercial management of major infrastructure projects across the UK strengthens our services to our current and future clients."

CGL provides a range of geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering services to businesses primarily in the energy, residential housing, infrastructure and commercial and retail sectors.
