BOSSES of a recently-refurbished pub have thanked the community for its support.
The Airedale Heifer at Sandbeds reopened in July after extensive renovations.
The £450,000 scheme, which also includes the construction of a new brewery alongside, has so far created about ten extra jobs.
James Kelly – sales and marketing co-ordinator at Bridgehouse Brewery, which carried out the refurbishment in partnership with Punch Taverns – said: "Feedback from the public has been excellent.
"The managers and staff would like to personally thank everybody involved in making this venture a huge success. We would especially like to thank our loyal customers, without whom this would not have been possible."
Airedale Heifer manager Heather Hawker added: "Having only lived in the area for a few months we are astonished by the warm reception we have received from the community and are grateful for everyone's support and continued custom."
Mr Kelly said the Bradford Road pub, which employs over 35 staff, now sourced all its meat locally from Confederation of Yorkshire Butchers Council president Roy Dykes.
