A KEIGHLEY law firm has found the recipe for fundraising success.
AWB Charlesworth staged a company-wide bake-off, which raised over £230 for Martin House children's hospice.
Brenda Peel, corporate fundraiser at the Boston Spa hospice, judged the 20-plus cakes and the winner was Keighley-based legal cashier Rachael Wormald with a carrot and ginger creation.
It was the third year the company, which also has offices in Bradford and Skipton, had staged the contest.
Partner Liam O'Neill said: "I was disappointed my own cake didn't win! However I was pleased to see so many of our partners and staff taking part to help raise money for a great cause."
Ms Peel thanked all those who had supported the venture.
She added: "The bake-off was fantastic and the standard of entries amazing – tasting the cakes was fun and choosing a winner proved to be a very difficult challenge."
The firm will continue to raise money for the hospice next year through various events.
