A BUSINESS based in East Morton has won a top award in a national competition.
Laugh Learn Love Languages came first in the language class of the third annual KalliKids UK Best Awards.
The local outfit, which provides fun French and Spanish classes for youngsters, beat off competition from more than 1,200 other providers.
Company spokesman Michaela Haynes said: “I am absolutely delighted. It feels great when parents give positive feedback but it’s even better when you receive an award in recognition of your efforts. Thanks to everyone who voted and to the panel of judges.”
KalliKids is the UK’s stamp of approval and accreditation service for children’s activities and services. The UK Best Awards recognise the innovation and hard work of providers of family and children services in Britain.
Voting for the 18 categories in the awards began online back in June. The providers with the most votes were shortlisted in September.
This shortlist was then handed to a panel of independent judges to select the overall winners.
