A KEIGHLEY security firm is celebrating winning important new recognition of its commitment to maintaining the highest industry standards.

Guardian Security Installations Ltd, which has its base in South Street, has received the NACOSS Gold Medal.

This was presented by the National Security Inspectorate’s (NSI) chief executive, Richard Jenkins, at the NSI annual summit in Birmingham.

The unique, numbered and framed gold medal is awarded to companies which have achieved NACOSS Gold Approval, the premier scheme for firms involved in the installation and maintenance of intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems in the UK.

Guardian Security Installations Ltd has been installing security systems since 2002.

Directors Warren Heggarty and Stephen Emsley said the medal presentation demonstrated their business's determination to deliver high quality products and an excellent standard of customer service.

Mr Heggarty added: “We are committed to providing both new and existing customers with the best service and, in recognition of this, we are proud to have received the NACOSS Gold Medal.”

He said the company has already had silver accreditation for many years, but began taking steps to gain gold about 12 months ago.
