KEIGHLEY College has received a coveted accreditation from the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.
The accolade is for the college's engineering advanced apprenticeship scheme.
The programme is run through the college's Industrial Centre of Excellence (ICE) and the accreditation means students will have free access to a range of extra support.
Benefits will include use of the world's biggest engineering library, access to bursaries, the chance to attend free engineering events and talks and regular newsletters spotlighting latest developments in the sector.
Also, students will be able to become professionally registered as EngTech which can boost their career prospects with many major employers.
Chris Stott, head of business and engagement at the college, said: "We're pleased to have been recognised and awarded this accreditation.
"It will help our students stand out from the crowd and demonstrates our continued commitment to the success of our apprentices, as well as showcasing the quality of our training provision to students and employers."
