A JOINERY company headed by an Oxenhope man is undergoing a rebrand and recruiting new staff.

Patchett Joinery has taken-on three new senior employees following an upsurge in domestic sales.

Gareth O'Brien is sales and marketing manager and he is joined by area managers Beverley Ayers and Janine Roberts.

The firm also has a new logo and website.

Owner and managing director, James Patchett, said: "Our business recently celebrated 175 years so it seemed a fitting time to refresh our brand and demonstrate a more modern outlook.

"This coincides with the appointment of the new members of staff, who will help drive the company forward during this period of high demand."

The company, based in Bradford, began as a small outfit manufacturing any wooden products.

Now it uses latest technologies to produce bespoke windows and doors for customers across the UK.

"We have invested around £300,000 in production in the last five years and pride ourselves on using the finest sustainable materials," added Mr Patchett.

"An 'improve not move' trend among householders has really driven demand, as people are more willing to install products that are built to last while retaining the period look of the property.

"We also feel our recent increase in domestic sales is partly due to growing demand for environmentally-sound products."
