A COMMERCIAL heating and plumbing firm in Keighley has launched a new domestic arm focused on helping homeowners across West Yorkshire.

Service 2, which is based off Dalton Lane, has joined forces with UK home assistance provider HomeServe.

Having mainly worked with commercial customers over the last four years, an eight-strong team of engineers from Service 2 will now apply their experience to the region’s residential market.

They will provide boiler and central heating installations, services and repairs under a dedicated new brand, called HomeServe West Yorkshire.

James Lovery, managing director and co-founder of the firm, said: "This is a very proud day for our business.

“We’re delighted to be joining the HomeServe family and expanding our boiler installations and gas heating services across the domestic market.

“This new partnership gives us the opportunity to use all the skills and experience we’ve accumulated in the commercial market and apply them to residential homes to help customers right across West Yorkshire."

Chris Snowden, managing director and fellow co-founder of the company, added: “It’s an exciting time for our business and we’re looking forward to what we can achieve with HomeServe’s support.”
