AN award-winning Cross Hills company has celebrated its 10th birthday.

Debt Advisory Line marked the milestone with an event at the Coniston Hotel, Coniston Cold.

The firm began in a small portable cabin in Keighley town centre, with just six employees.

Now it employs 50 people at its base in Crossing Business Park, Cross Hills, and at offices in Stockport.

Chief executive officer Craig Gedey, who has been involved since the start, said: "Debt Advisory Line has gone from strength to strength over the last ten years.

"The team has supported over 30,000 customers by managing their debts, while our experienced creditor liaison team has had more than £2 million worth of debt written off.

"I am extremely proud of the company and everyone who works here."

The firm has picked-up several accolades over the years.

It is a three-times winner of the Debt Management Team of the Year award and Mr Gedey was recently named one of the 100 'most influential people in money' by Credit Today.

He added: "The awards the company has won are testament to the team's excellent customer service, professionalism and integrity and we hope to continue to deliver this for many more years to come.

"I would like to say a huge thank-you to all staff past and present who have contributed to our success and made a difference to customers' lives."
