BUS company Transdev has welcomed aboard a new recruit.
Andy Turnbull has joined the firm, which has depots in Keighley and North Yorkshire and Lancashire, as a graduate management trainee.
He is a student member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.
Alex Hornby, Transdev's chief executive officer, said: "Andy will be spending his first few weeks meeting the teams at all six of our depots before going through an 18-month programme, during which he will experience the variety of work at all levels within our business across the north and our fellow Transdev operations in the UK and Ireland.
"It's critical to get the right grounding in your career and that's why the first element of Andy's programme will be to progress through a full PCV test and spend a number of weeks driving our buses and getting the very best of experiences of what our teams do at the sharp end.
"Andy is a very enthusiastic advocate of improving public transport and I know he'll be a great addition to our team."
