A KEIGHLEY company is helping to shape travel on Northern trains.

Simply Better Events staged a roadshow with the rail operator to give people the chance to try out three seat options for a new fleet of trains.

Twelve events were held at stations across the network and thousands of passengers voted with their bottoms.

"It's been great to see so many of Northern's customers interacting with the roadshows," said Rob Woodhead, managing director of Simply Better Events.

"Feedback will directly influence the future of rail travel across the network and further interactive events to engage commuters are planned."

Helen Kettleborough, head of communications at Northern, paid tribute to the Valley Road firm.

"Simply Better Events pulled out all the stops to help us design and build a customer experience," she said.

"We had a short time to turn around a large-scale roadshow and we have generated some fantastic engagement."
