A CULLINGWORTH businesswoman has been shortlisted for a prestigious accolade.
Sandra Corcoran is in the running for a Northern Power Women Award.
She is shortlisted in the small-business category of the scheme, now in its second year.
“I am delighted,” said Mrs Corcoran, who with husband Paul has run Pennine Cycles in Bradford for 17 years.
“Owning my own business is the best thing I have ever done and I am passionate about encouraging other women to do the same.
“It’s never too late to change the direction of your career.”
The awards scheme was launched to showcase female role models and celebrate their contribution to the Northern Powerhouse.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony in Manchester on March 7.
