KEIGHLEY-based Airedale Enterprise Services (AES) has received glowing praise from organisers of a coveted awards scheme.
AES was presented with the Future of Enterprise Support accolade in the National Enterprise Network awards.
“The honour was in recognition of the sheer resilience that AES demonstrated in the face of change,” said a network spokesman.
“It suffered a major blow when a long-term contract with Bradford Council – which had part-funded AES’ business advice service for over 30 years – came to an end.
“AES worked hard to introduce an incredible number of initiatives.”
Wendy Spencer, of AES, said: “We were delighted to win the award.
“We believe anyone starting in business should be able to access free support and this is something we are passionate about.”
