A DESIGN company founded by an Oxenhope woman is taking part in a prestigious festival.
The Stitch Company will showcase its work at the inaugural National Festival of Making, being spearheaded by leading designer Wayne Hemingway.
Artists, designers, manufacturers and small-scale makers are converging on Blackburn for the event, on May 6 and 7.
Charlotte Meek, who set up The Stitch Company two years ago, said: “I am delighted to be taking part in this unique and exciting festival – celebrating the greatness of making and manufacturing in this country – and to be so warmly welcomed into a thriving community of top talent and creativity.”
