AN event staged in Keighley provided local traders with a chance to meet and share ideas with other business people.
The free networking evening on April 3 was arranged by the directors of building and roofing firm Shield Services, which is based at Ridge House, Spearhead Way, off Lawkholme Lane.
Directors Robin McAndrew and Marc Boddy organised the event to provide companies with an opportunity to gain advice and inspiration from local enterprises and industries.
Commenting after the night, which included refreshments and a collection for Sue Ryder Manorlands, a spokesman for Shield Services said: "Our networking evening was a really good night.
"We had people from a good number of businesses turn up who really enjoyed the event and found it very useful.
"Businesses representatives that attended included Selina McAndrew from Party Hub, Nick Ratcliffe, of the Federation of Small Businesses, Jenny Dickinson from Helium, Gareth James from Clockwork Eye, Nasreen Karim from Platinum Partnership Solicitors and Chris Herd from C & L Herd Butchers.
"We are going to continue building up our business networks by holding this evening on a monthly basis."
