STEVE Usher – site manager at David Wilson Homes’ Hewenden Ridge development in Cullingworth – has won a coveted accolade.
He has received a Pride in the Job Quality Award, recognising highest standards in housebuilding.
Mr Usher was among three colleagues from the region to scoop awards and is one of more than 70 site managers from Barratt Developments, which includes David Wilson Homes, to win honours this year for their workmanship.
Ian Ruthven, the company’s Yorkshire West managing director, said: “We thrive on working to the highest standards and so I’m thrilled that three of our site managers have been recognised with these awards. It is so very well deserved.
“The role of a site manager is vital and we are delighted that Steve is among the award recipients.
“This demonstrates our ongoing commitment to quality.”
