A LAW firm has bolstered its private client team.
Kate Thornton has joined AWB Charlesworth Solicitors, taking its wills, trust and probate department to eight-strong.
The team works across four sites – Keighley, Skipton, Bradford and Bingley.
Kate began her legal career as a secretary, before moving to a paralegal role.
She was then sponsored to complete a law conversion course at the former Leeds Metropolitan University, whilst working part-time on a training contract.
"After over nine years working with city-centre firms I am very much looking forward to becoming part of AWB – working in a different environment and geographical location and getting to know new clients and their families," she said.
Liam O'Neill, head of the private client team at AWB Charlesworth Solicitors, welcomed the appointment.
"I'm delighted that a solicitor with Kate's knowledge and experience has joined the practice," he said.
