KEIGHLEY motor dealership Colin Appleyard is bucking the national trend.

Its sales of new Suzuki cars in the last quarter rose by five per cent, in contrast to an overall national downturn of ten per cent within the industry.

Managing director, Robin Appleyard, said: “This was yet another record quarter for us, with sales of 1,050 new and used vehicles.

“There is no doubt Suzuki’s reputation is helping our cause but I’d also like to think our unique level of customer service is a contributing factor.”

Colin Appleyard has consistently been Suzuki’s top-performing dealership, winning the coveted Dealer of the Year title a record six times.

In addition to its Keighley showroom, the company has Suzuki dealerships at Huddersfield, Ashton-under-Lyne and Shipley. It also has motorcycle, Nissan and Subaru outlets.
