A couple from Silsden have won a coveted award for providing extra special service at their bed and breakfast.
When inspectors from the English Tourist Board came to assess Pickersgill Manor Farm, on Silsden Moor, Lisa and Marcus Preston were delighted to earn not only a four-star rating, but a prestigious silver award too.
Mrs Preston said: "You get a silver award for things that are extra, like the way that you greet people and the way that we use our own produce from our pigs and make our own sausages.
"We support local businesses by trying to source food as close to home as possible and also other little things - like I put chocolate on the pillow and fresh flowers in the room."
Lisa moved to live at Pickersgill six years ago after marrying Marcus, who has lived on the working farm all his life.
She was first given the idea of running a bed and breakfast when a friend needed somewhere for his friends to stay while competing in local national sheepdog champion finals.
Mrs Preston said: "My friend asked me if I had any spare rooms and I said yes. After they had stayed they rang me up and said we had a great time, why don't you consider doing it as a business'? So we did."
The partnership works well - Lisa takes care of the hospitality and Marcus takes care of the farm, where they live with their two children, aged eight and five.
