Thirty banners have gone up around the town to promote the Keighley News campaign "We're Backing Keighley & District."

Keighley Town Council has put its backing behind the campaign to sing the praises of businesses in the town.

It has spent £2,850 to buy the 30 banners, which are being flown from its lamp-post sites across the town centre. They went up on Monday.

The campaign was launched by the Keighley News in June. It is also being backed by Keighley College, Keighley Town Centre Association, Bradford Council, Bradford Vision, Business Link and the Airedale Shopping Centre.
