The certificate awarded to Jack Wells, who traded as W Rhodes, joiner and undertaker at Low Mill, Ingrow
THE late Jack Wells – who used to trade in Keighley as W Rhodes, joiner and undertaker at Low Mill, Ingrow – was awarded this Christmas Day Gifts certificate in 1915 while a pupil at Utley Council School.
He had "helped to bring happiness on Christmas Day to our brave sailors and soldiers, who are fighting for honour, freedom and justice".
