THE Tivoli Harmonica Boys were a local mouth-organ and piano-accordion band popular in about the mid-1930s.
Based in Silsden, they were organised first by Thomas Hanson, followed as leader by Sam Sheldon. At first they practised in their own homes, later upstairs at the King’s Arms.
