Five people trapped in a lift at Quebec House in Westgate Gardens, Keighley, were rescued by firefighters last night.
The lift had become stuck between the ground and first floor of the block of flats.
One crew from Keighley Fire Station, called out at about 8pm, isolated the lift mechanism and then manually wound it down.
