Lee loaned out to Rochdale
 |
| Keighley goalkeeper Tommy Lee |
Macclesfield Town goalkeeper Tommy Lee, who is from Keighley, has been loaned out to League Two promotion-chasing side Rochdale.
The 22-year-old former Man-chester United trainee has made a total of 67 appearances for the Silkmen with 20 of those coming this season.
Lee fractured the fifth metacarpal in his left hand in November and hasn't played in a full game since just before Christmas.
The injury, coupled with the good form of his replacement, Jon Brain, has saw Lee lose his starting place.
He joins Rochdale, who are one point off the play-off places and have had both of their keeper's sidelined with injuries. Macclesfield are fourth from bottom of League Two.
Lee said: "It's the first time in my career where I've not had the pressure of relegation. Chasing promotion is a nicer pressure to have."
Lee featured in both Rochdale games over the Easter holiday period, a 1-0 loss to Notts County on Saturday and a 4-1 win against Rotherham on Monday.
Lee said: "It's just to nice to be playing again. I'm happy to be given the opportunity."
Lee's 28-day loan deal expires at the end of April.
