THE movements of the Princess Royal in Keighley on May 19, 1943, were reasonably well documented.

She raised the Town Hall Square indicator and visited the Technical College, the Hospital Supplies Depot in Cooke Lane, WVS headquarters and the Woodbine Day Nursery for the children of mothers on war work.

She also met this group, which includes members of the Red Cross.

She is standing in the centre of the front row of adults, immediately behind the little girl on the right, in the garden of what looks like a substantial building, but its location seems to have slipped out of her reported itinerary.

There must be readers who could throw some light on this.
