A STRAKER trolley-bus en route to Ingrow along Bradford Road has hit a snag in the shape of a fallen tree from Victoria Park.
The confused melee of bystanders suggests this has just happened.
The man standing on the right, looking towards a build-up of traffic beyond, may be the conductor, as he seems to have his ticketing equipment over his shoulder, and could be wearing a uniform cap.
An upstairs passenger can be glimpsed standing up to look out of the window, while the man in the middle seems to be motioning to the photographer to get out of the way. Keighley’s trackless system was discontinued in 1932.
The photograph has been supplied by Kevin Seaton, of Shann Lane in Keighley.
