IT is time for answers about the future of Keighley's police station.
More than a year ago, we were told the fate of the premises was 'under review'.
Nothing has moved forward since then.
Meanwhile, the uncertainty continues, fuelling rumours and speculation.
If the Royd Ings Avenue building is to close, we need to be told what alternative will be put in place to fulfil the pledge of a continued police presence in the town.
Today, an election takes place to appoint a West Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner.
Whoever that person is, Keighley's public deserves a quick announcement regarding the police station to put residents' minds at rest.
