SO, here we go again.
Bradford Council's leader has warned us this week to prepare for another round of savage cuts to services.
Already-tightened belts will need to be brought in yet another notch or two.
The announcement of the £82m cuts over two years has of course been accompanied by the expected political exchange over who's to blame.
But whether responsibility lies with the Tory Government or the Labour-led council, the harsh reality is that everyone needs to brace themselves for a tough ride.
Care for the elderly and disabled, the libraries service and community halls are among those in the firing line.
