I WAS told that land near the Beckside Mill in Keighley is earmarked to be built on.
If that is true, then it would seem that Bradford planners have forgotten that the public footpath which passes through the area has been closed for a number of years, because of a chimney that is in a dangerous condition.
If it is dangerous for the public to be in that area, then it must be dangerous for the builders to be in the area, unless, the chimney is demolished to allow the builders onto the site.
But if that is the case, then surely the same can be done so that the public can use the footpath?
