ON behalf of Keighley Lions Club, I would like to thank all who helped with last year’s Christmas Santa sleigh street collection.
Their support is much appreciated.
A special thanks go to the two Ians, who stepped in at the last minute with offers to pull the sleigh; to Stuart, for his many years of continued help during a very difficult personal time, and to Stuart, Robert, Harry and Stevie for their help as volunteer Santas.
Thanks also to Shona and her supporters for organising the Scouts, without whom we would have difficulty making the collections.
Our thanks also go to the owners and staff at Stephen Smith garden centre in Harden for more than 25 years of fundraising with its Santa’s grotto. Finally, the Lions would like to thank the people of Keighley for their continuing generosity. All money collected is given away – nothing is taken out for administration. Lions all pay to be members.
