This morning my husband had an appointment at the Silsden surgery at 9.20am.
After a long consultation the doctor recommended a blood test and X-ray. On mentioning that he had an appointment at the Warfarin clinic later on in the morning, he gave the necessary papers to cover the appointments mentioned above.
We were seen on time at the Warfarin clinic at 11.45am. We then went to phlebotomy and were seen in a few minutes, moved on to X-ray – slightly longer wait but still only minutes.
We were walking out of the hospital at 12.30pm. After all the grumbling we hear about the NHS, I felt this was worth putting on record – well done Airedale!
