Council lacks sense
WITH reference to Alan Preston’s letter – Time for us to exit ‘failing’ council (Keighley News, March 16).
Everyone I speak to wholly endorses his very valid comments and common sense reasoning. It is such a pity the people in charge at Bradford Council seem to lack the basic sense so outlined.
To say Haworth is the ‘jewel in the crown’ (Bradford Met hypocrisy) is an insult.
The so-called world tourist attraction is treated by them more as a wart on the backside of a warthog!
Come on you local councillors and MPs, let’s get away from such ill-reasoned people who seem very content to protect that lovely tourist attraction – Bradford.
