TWO new reasons to add to the campaign that Keighley should sever contacts with Bradford.
First, the fiasco with missing waste collections during the changeover last week was hardly unsurprising.
Second, the city clearly knows little of the areas for which it is responsible: the council’s computerised telephone answering system insists we live in a place called ‘Cayley’.
A local authority capable of making basic errors and of failing to provide basic services is not fit for purpose.
