Who has right of way?
I UNDERSTAND BANDAG’s input into the argument for the improvement of North Street into Cavendish Street – Campaign group say no to ‘jam-buster’ (Keighley News, August 31) – and it shows far better intelligence than Bradford’s scheme.
Can the designers of this ‘improvement’ of making a new lane, taking pavement/trees and some saleable land from the demolished college building tell me and the people of Keighley – particularly drivers – who will have the right of way when the two lanes in North Street merge into a single carriageway?
The mind boggles how the people who plan these schemes got their qualifications.
