WITH regard to A-boards, and particularly your recent article about Stockbridge Fisheries – Tiny chippie fears invisibility (Keighley News, March 22).
No one wants to compromise a business or someone’s livelihood, however I am sure that the enticing aroma of fish and chips and the sign above the premises are a perfectly adequate means of advertising without the need for an A-board.
I can perhaps understand their use if your premises are located down a ginnel, for example.
