I WOULD like to highlight the work of a foodbank in your area which helps those people who are going through difficult times.
Some families are finding it quite difficult to put food onto their dining table.
Would you be interested in giving either a small donation of money or food to this foodbank? It can be found at the Salvation Army, High Street, Keighley (phone 01535 603494, e-mail ben.cotterill@salvationarmy.co.uk, or visit salvationarmy.org.uk). The type of food that is wanted must be non-perishable and not out of date, for example tinned vegetables, tinned meat, tinned fruit, pasta, sugar, long life milk, tea bags, rice, sponge puddings, plus items like soap and toilet rolls.
